AutoCAD X64

AutoCAD 2016 installation.

In 1983, a slightly modified version of AutoCAD, for the Macintosh, was released. The Macintosh version featured the “macmenu” toolbar that is used in OS X as well. In 1987, AutoCAD for Windows was released as a WORD-compatible application that allowed the user to import/export AutoCAD files to other word-based applications such as Microsoft Word.

AutoCAD was the first and is still the only CAD software application that is available in both CAD and drafting modes.

Common Features

AutoCAD is used for 2D and 3D drafting, modeling, and design. The AutoCAD drawing features are described below, but AutoCAD provides a very complete and detailed suite of basic 2D and 3D drafting features. (For a full list of features, see AutoCAD Features.)

Component/Feature Stores and Library Stores
With version 2013, Autodesk introduced Component Stores. With component stores, users can associate product components with CAD designs, and view a CAD design in different ways based on the components used.

This feature has been used for many years in some previous versions of AutoCAD to allow for components to be included in a drawing file, even if the file was never saved (the drawing is saved and opened from a Component file, saved as a Drawing file, etc.)

With version 2014, Autodesk introduced Library Stores. Library stores allow for the integration of AutoCAD drawings with libraries, which are named collections of files and objects that are available to other AutoCAD files.

Hierarchy Viewer
The Hierarchy Viewer is an application which allows users to view the internal object structure of an AutoCAD drawing. The Hierarchy Viewer displays the internal shape of objects such as lines, arcs, circles, text, areas, and solids. Any number of hierarchy levels can be displayed and the user can switch between “Children Only”, “Parents Only”, and “Both” views. When a View is selected, a unique view of the selected objects is displayed, which allows the user to better understand the object’s internal structure. The Hierarchy Viewer is built into the Windows operating system and is accessible by double-clicking on an object in the drawing.

In 2014, Autodesk introduced the Feature Builder, a tool that allows AutoCAD users to design their own user interfaces, based on Windows components.

Application programming interfaces
The Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) allow programmers to build applications that integrate with AutoCAD. Examples include plugins, command-line interface programs, and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

Additionally, users may use a C++ programming language to create their own plug-ins for AutoCAD. There is a subset of this language called AutoLISP that was also used for the prior versions of AutoCAD.

AutoCAD contains a set of built-in commands.

With every version of AutoCAD since release 2, new functionality has been integrated into the product using third-party plug-ins. Plug-ins are usually written in the Visual LISP, Visual C++, C#, ObjectARX or AutoLISP programming languages. Auto

Metzinger was forced out of the Fennell Center at the beginning of the second period after a groin injury, but he didn’t look any worse for wear on the bench, so he was good to go for Monday’s contest against the Rampage.

A Hamilton, Ontario, native, Metzinger’s goal and an assist helped the Senators come back from two goals down in the second period to defeat the Rampage, 4-2. Metzinger finished with two goals and two assists in the win.

Metzinger now has a three-game point streak (two goals, one assist) and an eight-game point streak (two goals, five assists) dating back to Oct. 13.

“It’s nice to be back,” Metzinger said after the game. “It’s been a while. My last game was (Jan. 30), so it’s nice to be back and help the guys. It was a really bad injury. It wasn’t fun.”

Zemgus Girgensons scored twice for the Senators, while Chris Kelly added a goal and an assist in the win. Cory Conacher had a goal and an assist for the Rampage, while Christian Thomas, Mark Van Orden and Mark MacMillan each scored a goal.

The Rampage hit the scoreboard first when MacMillan got a rebound of a Thomas point shot, and Thomas skated the puck to the goal line before he turned it over and MacMillan buried it to open the scoring at 6:52 of the first period.

In a heavy defensive first period, Sens forward Clarke MacArthur brought the puck up ice before he picked up his third point of the season when he fed a pass to Girgensons for a one-timer from the point to tie the game at 1-1 at 6:07.

The Senators looked to rally after they tied the game, and Van Orden scored his first goal of the season at 9:36 to get them back on top. Van Orden got the puck from
