Introduction

HP ProBook 640 G1 Series Notebook is a notebook designed with the latest technology in the selection of high-performance hardware components. The main and second processor are built with a dual core Intel® Pentium® Core™ i5-4460 CPU @ 2.10GHz and a dual core 1.2GHz Intel Celeron N4100 CPU (4th generation) respectively. You will also be able to appreciate a highly responsive graphic system as the notebook features the latest NVIDIA® GeForce GT 630M GPU.

The notebook features a high-definition 14-inch screen with a 1920 x 1080p resolution giving a very high screen definition. Moreover, the notebook is equipped with nVIDIA® Optimus technology enabling the laptop to run the high-performance GPU, when needed, and switch to the integrated Intel graphics to save battery life. In addition, the notebook has an internal audio port, and a microphone. The notebook has a 17-inch or 15-inch screen options.

Keyboard

The HP ProBook 640 G1 Series Notebook is equipped with a thin and bright LCD keyboard. The keyboard also has backlight and is powered by a rechargeable battery. The keyboard provides a 16 million-keystroke input device, which includes letters, numbers and function keys. The keyboard also has integrated backlight and includes 10 large function keys, five-way arrow navigation keys, and user-configurable control key functions as well as special function keys. The keys are designed for easy typing on the notebook and provide sufficient support for multiple languages.

QMSys THREAD-PD provides a user-friendly, easy to use “tool” to design and analyze thread cutters or threads with specified pitch diameter. By using our software, a user can quickly obtain the required information.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Indicated values and pitch diameters are determined by using Berndt’s iteration formula from EA – 10/10 with the guidance of Lechowski’s methods.
Wires/balls correction factor is determined by Lechowski’s method.
Calculation of pitch diameter by using EA – 10/10.
The following parameters should be entered:
■ Thread type
■ Ratio of specified values to values indicated by EA – 10/10
■ Thread pitch diameter
■ Contact angle for the thread type
The following parameters should be entered in addition:
■ Material of the thread and possibly a cutting speed.
Using the buttons “New” and “Delete” the following parameters can be selected:
■ New symbol of the thread type
■ New standard values of the measured wire/ball diameter
■ New standard values of the pitch diameter (in the case of indicated values)
■ New accuracy of the diameter values
■ New contact angle of the thread
■ New batch for the measured wires
■ New batch for the tested balls
■ New diameter of the selected measuring wire
■ New diameter of the selected balls
In order to select the specified values, the following buttons have to be used:
■ New
■ Delete
For entering all these parameters, the next button is used “In” (next)
The displayed list of values is sorted by ascending order. The line with the symbol “AD” shows the actual value of indicated values and pitch diameters.
If you want to calculate the indicated values (symbol “I”) and pitch diameters (symbol “P”) of the thread type by using the calculation formulae from EA – 10/10, you have to select one of the following buttons:
■ Add
■ Delete
If these parameters are displayed, you have to enter these values into the field “Detail” (in the field “Material”) and click the button “OK”. If these parameters are not displayed, the calculation is not possible.

Usability QMSys Thread-PD is designed for optimum measuring of the indicated values and the determination of the thread’s pitch diameter.
This is an error correction program for the calculation of the indicated values and the pitch diameter. The measurement is carried out using either an external measuring instrument or an external ball. The error correction is based on the method of Berndt.
Thinning

The presented program was developed to measure nonlinear and linear threads, internal and external threads and steel and non-steel threads.
Thread types which are not included in the software are automatically determined from thread types stored in the data memory.
The software provides a feature for the correction of the indicated values for the tools using the method of Berndt.

Programming
The programs are written in Intel Basic (8086). The use of instruction extensions (80286 and 80386) is not allowed.
