Windows Embedded Device Manager 2011 Service Pack 1 [Updated-2022]

What’s New In?

System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007 enables IT professionals to create and distribute policies and configuration changes to groups of computers. Devices can be added to existing groups and policies and changes can be distributed using one or more distribution methods. Devices can be located by searching for devices by serial number or by looking for computers with specific attributes. SCCM enables you to determine which computers are in use and when they were last used. You can also search for devices or computers based on security policies and assign device and computer permissions. You can also schedule updates and create deployments. You can monitor and manage the computers and devices by using Device Manager in Windows Vista and Windows 7.

The Windows Embedded device management capabilities in SCCM 2007 enable you to create a profile that enables you to manage devices that have specialized requirements. This profile installs a Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7 Server on a computer and enables it to support devices that contain specialized configuration and management information. You can use the Windows Embedded Compact 7 Server to connect to one or more specialized devices. The Windows Embedded Compact 7 Server then displays a configuration interface for the device. You can use this interface to determine which devices are connected to the computer, and view the devices that have been added to the device group. You can also view and update the configuration of the device.
